This is an excellent shoe that I bought as a replacement to an identical pair that I purchased about 4 years ago. They have worn well and are surprisingly lightweight. I have very wide feet and have trouble with neuromas. They have a wide toe box and provide support to wear all day long. I wear them when we're out in the country as a substitute for boots or hiking shoes.

The Best Light Hiking Shoe I Have Ever Owned

Due to Tendinosis I wear heel lifts for my twice weekly ten mile hike in Arizona. I decided to try Apex as my regular brand did not provide enough stability. After two hikes, I realized Apex was the right shoe for me given my limitations of requiring an extra wide. I ordered a second pair for walking. The deep shoe bed is excellent for any type of insert and wide feet.

Comfortable support!

I bought these to replace a pair of Keen hiking shoes I'd had and wore everyday for 2 years. I waited 4 weeks to write this review because I wanted to see if I like these shoes or not. I DO really like them! They are wide, provide great support, can easily accommodate an orthodic and are stylish to boot.

I believe these shoes will wear well as I have already subjected them to some dirt and labor and so far they have come clean with a good wipe down.
