Wife wears a leg brace, with the opening at the rear of shoe allows for adjustment.
Quality of shoe is very good and with a squared off heal helps keep a good straight foot on contact
With floor.

Loved the shoe. Favorite part of shoe is the higher top for toes and the Velcro strip on the heel. I have a narrow heel and medium foot. Fits true to size.

love these shoes, I have an injured achiles tendon and this is the only athletic shoe I have found comfortable to wear. Also the service is great. No long waits and returns are a breeze.

Great shoes!!

These shoes are great! I add a Apex memory foam insole so softness inside and good stability on sole.
Also have a narrow heel so the tab at back gives ability to adjust. A+++

I DO LIKE THE APEX RUNNER SHOES. THIS WAS THE SECOND PAIR I HAVE ORDERED. HOWEVEER WHEN I PUT THIS PAIR ON AND WAS TYING THEM ONE OF THE LOOPS BROKE. I HAVE RETURNED THEM AND ORDERED ANOTHER PAIR. I'm sure it was just a manufacturing issue. I do really like them for the arch support and the cushion is very good.

Great for problem feet

I wear these shoes because I need wide toe box due to bunion surgery and I have narrow heels. The back strap adjustable heal is great. This is my second pair. I also have orthotics.

Love the adjustable heel!!!

I needed a double depth shoe to accommodate my othotics(on e with a 1/4" lift built in) and a supportive shoe. My problem with supportive shoes is that most of them have such wide heel areas that I can literally step out of them. These have an adjustable which is why I bought and kept them. They are not cute but I am beyond the cute shoe stage and looking for something that WORKS. I still had to use the liner and put tongue pads on the tongues as my feet are fairly narrow. Even with all the modifications I am still happy with them. Very smart to make an adjustable heel-not everyone has wide feet. I have narrow heels and an average forefoot so these have been most helpful.
